03 November, 2025: John Mueller shared an interesting SEO tip on Bluesky about hosting content on cloud providers: He recommends verifying the host in Search Console to track crawling, indexing, and safe browsing issues.
To do this, set up a custom subdomain pointing to your cloud bucket via a DNS CNAME. Then verify it in Search Console and update all links to your hosted resources to use the new subdomain. But keep in mind: image search traffic may fluctuate temporarily due to URL changes.
